The plan was to drive all the way to Seattle tonight, but honestly, I
didn't feel like it. I stopped in Centralia (they had a Motel 6), and
discovered it's a neat little town, and has a great
web site. I was so impressed I didn't even (much) mind the noisy neighbors
at the motel -- the combination of a softball tournament of 10-12 year
old girls, and a dog show in town. Arf, arf!
There's a nicer
sign, but it got dark... I'll try and grab it in the morning.
Or, maybe I wont.
Do you know the muffler man? "The muffler man?" The muffler
man, the one on Tower Avenue.
Lots of older buildings, and many made of brick and decorated with
murals (want a
closer look?).
The Union Pacific Railroad depot. But it's not a reconditioned one
-- it's still a working railroad depot.
Just one of the types of homes near the historic downtown. Sort
of cute, really.
Just wondering why Burgerville is so proud to be offering halibut.
If memory serves, that's fish.
