Just another city in the on-going search for Springfield, the allegedly mythical city from which Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and Maggie hail.  Of course, the states that bear a city named Springfield are quite numerous - 28 in all:  Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Tennessee.

Not the most extravagant sign ever to grace a highway, to be sure.	The typical water tower... which Homer's town lacks, if memory servers.	The newspaper in Bart's town is definitely got a different name.
And what city would be complete without a place that sells carpeting?  Dunno.
