Originally called Eagle Rock, Idaho Falls is the technological, medical,
educational and agricultural center of the Upper Snake River area of eastern
Idaho. (I read that on the back of a post card I paid 25¢ for...
not bad, eh?)
A city on the grow - look how they paste
over the population with lighter colored metal...
Unlike Twin Falls,
you can actually find the falls here.
The park near the falls gave me a chance
to socialize and break crackers with some relatives.
Of course, breaking crackers took a while
given the interruptions of others.
I bet next time, these home- owners will
listen when they're told to reinforce the foundation.
Metal roof material... this new learning
intrigues me, but I think I sort of miss wood shake roofing.
The boy insists the Orange Julius stand
is the home site of his grandparents when they farmed this land...
whatever, dude.
We were planning to stop into the Made
in Idaho store, but found the mall opens VERY late... it's 11:45am
(on a Sunday)
