If you look on the census map for 2000, nothing reported for this place.
But it has its own ZIP code - 92389, so at least the post office recognizes
the place is here -- and they should given there's a post office in town.
There was nothing of a town sign to speak of, so we
settled for this, and the presence of a post office.
Admittedly, this is the first post office I've seen without it's
name posted. But it's on
the map.
I'd say this motel won't be getting their AAA gold star for the
2003 travel guide.
Lots of trailers and mobile homes in town, but this was one of the
few permanent-looking homes.
Big towns, small towns, and ghost towns - they all end up here sooner
or later.
I learned there isn't much to do in this town, after consulting
with a bored, local boar.
