| The first indication that we weren't still in the U.S.: drug dealers
are dealt with appropriately. |
The trip to the hotel surely showed that we're in a new land. A
bit humid, but still quite pleasant. |
Okay, the drug (bomb?) sniffing dog at the door was a bit intimidating.
Good doggie... |

 |
| But c'mon, it's a nice hotel. This is the lounge part
of the lobby. (Note - it's only one part of the lobby.) |
From the room, we also had a decent view of the downtown area and
the traffic below. Hurrah! |
I did get to go out, and as signs like this at Tower Records, you
sense things are a bit different. |

 |
| The stores aren't really any different. Just a lot more
stuff right inside the doorway in this place. |
The shopping malls are also much larger -- but we saw something
similar in Sydney. Go figure. |
Need a watch? There's this quaint market, Green Hills, where such
things are always on sale. ;) |

| We hoped you enjoyed your stay. Php 550.00 (about $11)
to exit the country. Pay up, yo! |
