Obviously, I haven't read the travel brochure on Jasper. Certainly if
I had, I would be able to comprehend what the attraction is to this place.
It's not near any lakes, ski areas (in the summer, anyway), or other things
that would make it a resort getaway. Yet, it's swarming with recreational
vehicles, families, and had more than a few teams of females backpacking
through town. Curious.
One of the words on this sign is French. Possibly... two of them.

There were more RVs here per capita than an AARP convention. In
our SUV, we were a minority.
I have no idea. I was sitting at the red light and had a camera
in my wing. The rest is history.
I thought this was going to be just another quaint old depot --
nope, the railroad is a fully working one.
For a good time, why not take your sweetheart out to the railroad
crossing and watch trains go by?
