The sights were seen (at least all those we could manage), the Man has
burned, and a bunch of stuff happened. It was time to pack up the borrowed
Wicktonville Fire Department's Fire Rescue 71 rig and head back to the
"default" world... at least for another 51 weeks... once we
got through the 3.5 hour wait to get back to the roadway.
Soon after the east and west legs met and are split into several
lanes, the parking lot began.
Mr. Tighty-Whitey wandered around the waiting cars and chatted folks
up.
One of the many photos I have of nothing in particular. But I was
stuck in the truck for hours, bored.
For reasons not clear to me, there were a total of eight lanes across
of vehicles.
1:53am - We finally reach the gate that puts us onto the official
road leading to Highway 447.
This 3:14am accident was one of three we got to pass on the 90+
mile trip back to Interstate 80.
