The thought crossed...
... my mind that, given how often I go to the cinema, and after seeing another two movies yesterday for spoiling purposes (Beyond Borders and Radio) -- and watching nine people go in without paying, despite my paying for both films like everyone ought -- that maybe I should get a part time job at the theatre. Those who work there undoubtedly get to see the films AND get paid for it, and heck, I really only want the last 15-20 minutes of the film in many cases, anyway. Plus, they give you promo shirts and junk to wear; certainly, they'd be too large on me, but it's still worth looking into. And so it will be done...

Films, college campuses, and Jennifer
I'm back from my week wandering around the local college... pictures to follow shortly (it'll appear in the Activites section). And it was a low joule (or, energy) weekend for movies, but I did manage to get in Scary Movie 3 and The Other Side of the Bed, the latter being a subtitled Spanish artsy-fartsy film (which are fun, too). Overall, just a ducky weekend. And of some note, today is Jennifer Christine Ogden's birthday. Jennifer, turned "Jerry" when she hit high school before disappearing, was one of those neat sorts of girls who was fun to hang out with, knew all sorts of random things about things that were random and neat, and that sort... we hung out briefly in '87 and '88 (yes, even as ducks go, I'm getting old.. but I was a very mature 2-year-old, too).
