Alert - Product Advisory
If you were thinking, as I was, how neat it would be to have a glow-in-the-dark trick-or-tread bucket, and thought the one at Jack-in-the-Box would do nicely, be forewarned it doesn't glow in the dark. Not even slightly. I thought maybe it wasn't dark enough, so I waited until now -- 3am -- and put it under a black light (if something glows-in-the-dark, it does so with great vigor under a black light). Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Not even a twinkle. And in my spare time of disappointing candy bucket shopping, I managed to sit through Good Boy! and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, if you're looking for spoiled movie endings.

College ain't so bad
So, today I began my week of hanging out at a community college with a tall bird named Lisa. I never quite realized that if I hang out with a "talker" (y'know, someone who's NOT afraid of their shadow, a la Tubby), I can really make the rounds with the fellas and the ladies. I particularly am fond of the latter. Unfortunately, the trip down to Lisa's nest meant I got a bit behind on posting movies from this past weekend. Sorry. But I now will add in the things me and my peeps are ready to spoil, given our watching from this weekend, including: House of the Dead, Mystic River, and Runaway Jury. Having now done it a few weeks in a row, the whole thing of spending 8-10 hours at a movie theater, eating popcorn, soda, and occasionally exiting to see sunlight and eat real food... this is the life!
