It's just 11:35pm now
So, the official 48 hour period is over from people talking about the time the clock says, and the "real" time being an hour behind. (Y'know, with spring forward, the clock says 8:21pm, but the kids want to know if that's really 7:21pm, so they don't have to go to bed... unless bed time was 7pm, then the issue is moot -- and put on your PJs.) In celebration of this coming together of clocks and daylight, I have opted to do nothing more spectacular than whatever it is I do now. Sort of what the ancient Romans, while speaking in their dead languages, would call "status quo." Which isn't unlike "quid pro quo," but if Silence of the Lambs has taught me anything, that term only applies to cases where a FBI cadet asks a convicted serial killer about transgender murder suspects.
