09/04/2003: "Comedy is where you find it"

So, I'm bored. It happens to us all. The boy heads out to the friend's house in the next town over (20 miles or so, give or take). I get to watch him pretend to be some electrician sort of guy, putting in a couple of flourescent lights using the on-wall wiring conduits and so forth. Mind you, he's not an electrician, but if I read his bio correctly, he did get the Electricity merit badge from the Boy Scouts. (But then again, he also got the Tot'n'Chip thing from the Boy Scouts -- and I won't tell you how many knife and axe related mishaps we've had over the years.) At any rate, I may be a duck, but I know a spool of 12-2 wire when I see it, so it was a good show.

On a totally unrelated note, I managed to get all the movie endings updated to current date, and even was so detail-minded as to schedule out the next few weeks, based on the published release dates Yahoo! Movies posts out there. Yup, I'm just a dork at heart.
