08/31/2003: "31 hours, 1000 miles"

So, over the weekend (that is, between 3:30pm Friday and 10:30pm Saturday), I managed to (a) drive with Tubby and my nerdy friend to San Diego, (b) drop nerdy off at her friend's house, (c) look around the San Diego area -- including crossing the San Diego-Coronado bridge in the non-toll direction for a free ride, and (d) make it home in record time (the time to get there, including four stops and a visit at nerdy relative's house, was 8 hours 30 minutes, whereas the time home, including two brief stops, was 6 hours 15 minutes). All in all, it wasn't bad, though. I'll be posting the pictures of it all, here, in the next day or so. But it's late (goofing off), so I'm going to bed. Zzzz...
