Things are quiet at 3:29am
I love weekends. Not that I have anything against week days, but... anyway. I finally decide it's time to fluff the pillow before making sleepy eyes. Before I do that, it's time to go float in the spa (very toasty on my webbed toes). But at 1am, the spa wasn't on, so I flipped it on, and it'd be ready in about an hour. I got caught up in a movie, and didn't hit the spa until 3am.
I realize that the world, everywhere, is asleep at 3am. That could explain the overwhelming sense of quiet and calm I felt as soon as I wobbled outside. The stars were clear, a planet or very immobile shiny object was in the south-eastrn portion of the sky. But it's later now, and I feel relaxed, refreshed, and ready for bed.

What's wrong with this picture?
Y'know, part of the reason I want Tubby to go to work is to keep him out of my hair, er, feathers. So why is he coming home from that place, that haven of mine, early? I'm toying with making him take me to a picture show (what you'd call a "movie"), but nothing out there is really dazzling me right now. Phooey.

Wednesday already... yea!
Things are looking up, as weeks go (and quieting down in a good way). I've been pouring several hours a day into the new section of the site, which is not only keeping me busy, but my flock of four or so other people. (It's funny; as hard as it is to believe, humans are -- at times -- useful to my own selfish purposes.) But you'll have to keep an eye on the Duck Dispatch (news) section toward the end of the month, and you'll see more about what I'm working on in there. That aside, just pondering and planning for trips soon and distant, and near and far (please note, distant is relative to time, far to distance... not confusing at all). But it's past my bedtime, so I'm going to go rest my adorable frame on a down pillow (I don't care what they say, them feathers are mighty comfy... and they're not from another duck, so I care not). G'night, all.

A bit tired, certainly
It's been a long couple of days. The details aren't terribly important outside of my little flock, but stability is a good thing, and gives you a chance to begin thinking anew.
