A Day for Adelaide
If only Adelaide were a person, and not the thriving metropolis in the South Australia territory (that's like a state, by the by). It's nearly 9am here (still 16.5 hours ahead of California, 13.5 hours ahead of New York) on Saturday, and I'm about to tuck a Daytrip all-day bus/train/tram pass under my wing and wander about this city, and see what sort of troubles I can find myself in. But not the sort of Irish troubles, fun ones. Ta!

Darwin, Ho!
So, yesterday (Tuesday, 1 June) about 1pm local time, we landed in Darwin, and were shuttled over to the hotel. More of a hostel, really. Which isn't so bad given we're surrounded by college-age folks backpacking about, but less cool in that there's no phones in the room, thus, no daily updates can be posted. Further, no one mentioned to me it's a bit warmer here than I was expecting for a country that's opposite seasons of the United States, this I expected sort of a December-like weather. When we left Perth, it was about 7°C (like 40°F or so), and it was 27°C (80°F) when we landed here, and 95% humidity. Goodness. But we're going to jet off on a day long trip to Katherine Gorge, who are nifty enough to even have their own web site. Anyway, since this internet cafe is gobbling up my $2 coins, I'm off, for now. (We're also now 16.5 hours (yes, 16:30) ahead of California, 13:30 ahead of New York). Tootles!
