A night in Centralia, Washington
So, I quit driving before getting all the way to Seattle. But it's a nifty town, even if we're jammed into a motel full of pre-teen girls (here for a softball tournament) and couples with dogs (dog show is in town). But Centralia, as a hang-out place, is sort of cool. Tomorrow we're heading north to Seattle and the 'burbs there, but for now, nappy-time. We got here after 13 hours in the car and some random stops, like Zamora, California.

Are we there yet?
Sorry, just warming up for our all-day trek up to the Seattle area on Friday, and then back again on Sunday. I'm rather looking forward to the trip, although it seems Tubby was called in for jury duty starting tomorrow, so I suppose there's a chance he'll be stuck with that on Friday, entirely throwing my weekend plans into a tailspin (no pun intended). Sure, there's things I could be doing around the nest, but that's always secondary to a road trip. I like road trips.

A long weekend now ended
After a full day of recovery from the Midwest trip to South Dakota (we're not going to talk about if South Dakota is part of the midwest right now, by the way), I popped down to Disneyland on Friday, the California Railroad Museum on Saturday, and caught up on movies today. Busy! But I have a few days of quiet time before gearing up for this weekend's trip to Seattle, Washington and the surrounding cities up there. But for now, sleep.
