Yessir, so I complain about gas prices, and my local fuel-orium has raised the prices yet another four cents a gallon. Sure, it's four cents... but I drive a Ford, and they're not exactly known for focusing on reducing fuel consumption. (Okay, fine, perhaps the Ford Focus has a focus on it, but the Expeditions do not, certainly.) But heck, I'm going to Mardi Gras, departing in just just under 7 days and 2 hours. And how many ducks do YOU know that have had the chance to go to Mardi Gras two years in a row?

Aw, crankey
Apparently, I have a road trip planned. Why else would gas prices gas prices be creeping up so dramatically in the last few weeks. In mid-January, they were a solid 25¢ less per gallon than they are now. In the audible, unspoken words of Tubby, "audible sigh." And... 9 days to our departure for Mardi Gras, even at $1.82 a gallon.
