This week's new movies - a fair warning
If you're looking for a choice pick amongst the three new films out this week (nation-wide, never mind the independents, which are often much better), you can safely skip The Big Bounce and You Got Served. You can click on the titles if you want to read why, but very to the point, they blew. You Got Served was mostly attended by 14-17 year old girls, and the parents of them (in a few cases). That aside, there was no one else over 25 there, and no other ducks. The Big Bounce was good for eye candy, but if you are seeking a plot, perhaps consider The Perfect Score. Plus, it has that Scarlett girl from Lost in Translation. Anyway, going to go toast my webbed toes in the now-repaired spa -- yea!

A marginally heart-felt apology
Well, I've been back state-side for going on four days now, and am only half-way through posting all of the stuff from my recent Italy trip; sorry. As it turns out, doing it all from memory and what few notes I could create while trying to stretch out my laptop's battery life across nine days in Italy was tougher than I'd expected. I'm hoping to get it all completed before the end of the week, but I can't promise. On other fronts, I will reveal that progress is at least moving at a decent page, in part, due to Tubby's almost non-existent help in things. Why, if he were involved, I'd spend most of my time coaching him and fixing his mess-ups, so maybe a few extra days' delay is worth it, eh?

I'm home...!
Well, I touched down at the airport a few hours ago, and have gotten back to the nest and settled in. Tomorrow begins the project of converting all the pictures and notes into web updates. (There was a problem with the power adapter I took with me; they didn't fit in the plugs in Italy.) So... updates in the next few days -- promise!
