... to take Tubby out in public, he again proves me wrong. Today, we opted for a working lunch to Togo's (a sandwich place, since we aren't big fans of Subway, given the choice). The agenda was to go over trip strategy for the next leg of the U.S. Tour, this time out to the New England states in early October. That was the agenda. The entire plan was railroaded (and not in a good way) by Sandwich Engineer Chelsea, whose rectangular glasses looked quite smart, who sported a dandy pair of Vans sneakers and had a coy, flirtatious stance. Or so I heard about for the entire 23 minute stay in the store. On the way back to the office was all about what Chelsea may be doing right now, and if she was going to school (she left work at 1:30pm), if the concert she was talking about last night was really as great as she was telling her co-worker it was, and whether she was drinking regular or diet Pepsi. Fortunately, having had a ride on this merry-go-round countless times before, I know it will pass soon. Unless we end up in Togo's again, and Chelsea is serving up his #3 on white. (sigh)
