07/10/2004: "Tower of Terror isn't terrible"

ANAHEIM -- Earlier this morning, Frank A. Duck, a 10" tall duck, and two travel companions looked into riding the Tower of Terror at Disney's California Adventure. After proving the sign wrong proclaiming the wait was 27 minutes (it worked out to be less than that), we were strapped into Row 1 of the ride, bouncing floor to floor for at least a full minute. The entry to the ride through the storage room was also quite the treat, and made for some lovely purple-lighted pictures. As the day winds down, Frank found his travel compansions sacked out in the motel room, so he decided to return to Downtown Disney to take in a film at the local AMC (a local movie house with somewhat elevated ticket pricing). Staff writers contributed to this story.
