03/20/2004: "Midwestern Office Trip - Day 2"
The day began by fleeing our Cheyenne motel about 6:20am (MST) and with a thermometer reading of 30º. Here, some 20 hours later, it's 22º here in Sioux City, South Dakota. But having spent the evening in the theater catching up on this week's movies, plus last week's Spartan and a sneak previous of "The Girl Next Door", I kept warm. (Relative to Girl Next Door... ugh; not horrible, but try to avoid paying more than matiness, or better yet, wait for video.) We drove by and checked out our proposed office site in Tripp, South Dakota, and it looks promising, with only one thing that need to be fixed (reattach a rain downspout), and put in a concrete driveway to replace the dirt one; we'll see the inside on Monday, 22 March. But that said, I'm going to bed, me thinks...
