12/07/2003: "A weekend of wanderings..."

The weekend was quite action-packed, start to finish. We began with a movie outing to endure the 2 1/4 hour The Last Samurai and Honey. But it took a bit of work to get that far, what with The Terminator, er, the new California Governor, holding a meet-the-people thing in the mall where I chose to see my films. From there, I was off to wander around some towns here and there, including Albany, Berkeley, and the UC Berkeley campus. (I'm also supposed to say, "Go Bears!"... some guy in a red shirt and a tree tried to pay me not to, though, but I'm not sure what that's all about.) All this, and I still will get to bed at a decent hour this evening -- hurrah!
