11/24/2003: "Tick, tock, turkey..."

Thanksgiving Day is but two days away (or three, depending on how you define the calendar and how we intrepret it). In any event, I've been "blessed" with having Tubby home all week, and while I've tried putting him to work with movie and web site work, he seems insistent in not being here. Where, I can't always say, but he's taking me to Santa Barbara one day, and we just got back from Carson City, Nevada, so it's not all bad. There's even a rumor of a lifeless outing to Boring, Oregon. Hmmmmph.
