09/10/2003: "Living large in a nerd's paradise"

I really need to figure out how to set up streaming audio for some of my conversations with Tubby. During the course of the evening, which did encompass a few movies, the following actually occurred:
-------
Tubby: Woohoo!
Me: What...?
Tubby: I managed to move the two web servers from the WAN to the DMZ.
Me: Why is worth a woohoo? Most anyone with thumbs can move a network cable.
Tubby: Oh, it's not that simple. I also had to open two ports in the firewall.
Me: That doesn't answer why the woohoo. Again, anyone can do that.
Tubby: And know what ports to open without looking them up?
Me: You're kidding, right?
Tubby: Nope. Ever since we had that virus attack, I know now the port numbers.
Me: If you knew the winning lottery numbers, that would be worth a woohoo.
Tubby: You don't understand.
Me: You're right. But if I knew those port numbers, I'd be Duck Einstein, right?
Tubby shakes his bald head and walks away.
