08/25/2003: "What the...!?!"
I got home from my trip to Flagstaff, Arizona not two days ago, thinking the thunderstorms were behind me. But as I'm sitting here quietly, catching up on SpongeBob re-runs, there's a flash of light outside my window. Certainly, I'm pretty dang photogenic, but my fans usually make an appointment to get pics of me, versus doing the creepy-loner-guy-stalker outside the window thing. But nope -- it turned out it's lightning (with some very distant-sounding thunder). I mean, it's cool and all, but now should I close up the windows to avoid the possibility of rain getting inside, or keep 'em open to get a breeze? Considering it's 78°F (25°C) outside and it's almost midnight, that 6 MPH (10 km/H) breeze is nice, and doesn't ruffle the feathers too rudely. And yes, I am enjoying using my Celcius conversion thingy.
